Breast Cancer Awareness Month


(October 24, 2012) In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and our friend and colleague Ms. Kelly McHale Sullivan, students, staff, family and friends created Team Voorheesville and participated in the “Making Strides” walk for the American Cancer Society on Sunday, October 21, 2012. In addition, in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Day on October 22, 2012, students and faculty joined together for "Pink Day" to show their support for our friends, colleagues and family members who have been affected by breast cancer by wearing pink for the day. Our "Making Strides" team, along with the National Honor Society, raised over $1,940.00 to support this endearing effort.
