Elementary students to plant Spirit Bulbs

Oct. 21, 2009—During the week leading up to Harvest Festival on November 6, each elementary school student will plant a flower bulb outside the garden fence.

Purple hyacinths and gold daffodils representing the school colors have been selected and purchased by the PTA Garden Project committee.

The bulbs will be planted in beds prepared by Elemental Landscapes using Garden Blend soil donated by Olsen's Nursery. Six-hundred bulbs in all will adorn the front of Blackbird Paradise in what promises to be a magnificent sight this spring!
