Blackbird Paradise has first bountiful food pantry harvest

July 8, 2009 - After a great deal of tireless work and energy, the Voorheesville School and Community Garden Committee made its first harvest of the Blackbird Paradise garden.

Yielding numerous tubs of lettuce, four heads of broccoli, bags of rosemary, parsley, and sugar snap peas, the proceeds will be donated to the area Food Pantry.
