How To Get There: For New York State SECTION #2 High Schools

These are routes to area schools that Voorheesville Schools compete against in athletic events. Always remember to refer to a map when traveling to one of these schools.

Academy of the Holy Names

Address: 1075 New Scotland Ave., Albany

To get to the high school from the south, take the Thruway to Exit 21. Turn left onto Whitehall Road. Turn left on New Scotland Ave. Go ¼ mile and the school is on the right.

From the south, take Route 9W to 787-South. At the end of 787, turn left onto 2nd Ave. Travel to the fork in the road, and take the left fork (Whitehall Road). Turn left onto New Scotland Ave. Travel ¼ mile. The school is on the right.

The Albany Academy (for Boys)

Address: 135 Academy Road, Albany

To get to the high school, take the Thruway. Get off at Exit 23. Go left onto 9W [at light]. Turn right at the second light (Hoffman Ave). Turn left onto 2nd Ave. Cross Delaware Ave. Go to the fork and stay right on TenEyck. Travel to the “T.” Turn right onto Marwill. Turn left onto Hackett Blvd. The first driveway on the right is school parking by the field house.

Albany Academy for Girls

Address: 140 Academy Road, Albany

Take Route I-87 to the Western Ave. Exit (Route 20 East). Turn left onto Western Ave. Travel approximately 4 miles. Turn right onto South Manning Blvd. Travel 1 mile. Turn left onto New Scotland Ave. Travel 2 miles. Turn right onto Academy Rd. Travel ½ mile. The school is on the left.

Albany High School

Address: 700 Washington Ave., Albany

To get to high school from the Thruway, take Exit 24 to I-90 east. Take Washington Ave. Exit. Turn left onto Washington Ave. Travel approximately 1 ½ miles. The school is on the right.

Amsterdam High School

Address: 140 Saratoga Ave., Amsterdam

Take the Thruway to Exit 27 (Amsterdam). Turn right onto Route 30 North. Travel through the city of Amsterdam. Pass a McDonalds. Travel another 2 ½ miles to Amsterdam Memorial Hospital. Continue traveling two more traffic lights. Turn right onto Miami Ave. Travel ¾ of a mile. The school is on the left.

Argyle Central High School

Address: 5023 State Route 40, Argyle

To get to the high school from the South, take Route 40 from Greenwich. School is on the left in the town of Argyle.

From the North, take Rte. 197 or 40-South into the town of Argyle. The school is on the right.

Averill Park High School

Address: 146 Gettle Road, Averill Park

To get to the high school, take I-90. Take Exit 7 (Rensselaer). Turn left onto Washington Ave. Extension. Travel through Rensselaer. Cross Route 4. This will be Route 43. Travel 7-8 miles to West Sand Lake and look for Miller’s Supermarket. Approximately 1 ½ miles past Miller’s, turn left at the high school sign.

Ballston Spa High School

Address: 480 Garrett Road, Ballston Spa

Take I-87 to Exit 12 (Ballston Spa). Take Route 67 West. Proceed approximately 3 miles to the Route 50 intersection. Travel straight across onto Ballston Ave. One-eighth mile farther, turn left on Garrett Rd. The school is on the left.

Berlin Junior/Senior High School

Address: 17400 Route 22, Cherry Plain

To get to the high school from the North, take Route 22 South from Petersburg. High school is in Cherryplain, on the left.

From the south, take Route 22 North from Route 43. High school is on Route 22 in Cherryplain on the right.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo

Address: 1738 Helderberg Trail, Berne

To get to the high school from the north and east, take Route 146 from Route 20 at Guilderland. Stay on Route 146 for 15-16 miles. Follow signs to 156 South into Berne. Take Route 443 West ¼ mile. The school is on the right.

From the west, take I-88 to the Sidney Corners/Rte. 30-A Exit. Take Route 30 and 30-A South to Route 443. Travel 6-8 miles into Berne. School is on the left.

Bethlehem Central High School

Address: 700 Delaware Ave., Delmar

Take the Thruway to Exit 23. Take I-90. Get off at Exit 4. Take Route 85 in Slingerlands to Delmar. Go left onto Route 140. Turn right onto Delaware Ave. The school is on the left.

Bishop Maginn High School

Address: 99 Slingerland St., Albany

To get to the high school, take Thruway to Ext 23. Go left onto 9-W. Turn right onto Hoffman Ave. Take right onto 2nd Ave. Take left onto Slingerland. The school is one block up on the right.

Broadalbin-Perth High School

Address: 100 Bridge St., Broadalbin

To get to the high school, take the Thruway West to Exit 27 (Amsterdam). Take Route 30 North until you reach the Route 30 North and Route 29 intersection. Turn right onto Route 29 East. Turn right at caution light at Midline Rd. Turn left onto Broad Street. The school is up ahead.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School

Address: 88 Lake Hill Road, Burnt Hills

To get to the high school from the South, take Route 50 North to Burnt Hills traffic light. Turn right onto Lake Hill Rd. The school is one mile ahead on the left.

Cairo-Durham High School

Address: 1301 Route 145, Cairo

To get to the high school from the east, take Route 23 West through Cairo. Turn right onto Route 145 after town. Continue for 2 ½ miles. The school road is on the left.

From the west, take Route 145 East through East Durham. Go 2 ½ miles. The school road is on the right.

Cambridge High School

Address: 24 South Park St., Cambridge

To get to the high school from the north, take Route 22 South into Cambridge, just past the Route 372 interchange. The school is on the right.

From the west (Greenwich), take Route 372 into Cambridge. Turn right on Route 22. The school is on the right.

Canajoharie High School

Address: 136 Scholastic Way, Canajoharie

To get to the elementary school from the East or West, take the Thruway and get off Exit 29. Go right on Route 5-S. Travel 1/8 mile and turn left on Mitchell St. (before bridge). At end of Mitchell, go left onto Montgomery. Take the third right onto Maple Ave. Travel past the yellow caution light. Turn left at the flashing red light. School is straight ahead.

From the south or Route 20, take Route 10 North out of Sharon Springs and into Canajoharie. Turn right onto Montgomery at the stoplight. Turn right onto Maple Ave. Travel past the yellow caution light. Turn left at the flashing red light. School is straight ahead.

Catholic Central High School

Address: 625 7th Ave., Troy

To get to high school from the south (Albany), take I-787 North to 112th Street Bridge. Travel over the river and stay straight to 7th Ave. Turn left on 7th. Travel this to 116th St. The school is on the left, and the gym is on the right.

Catskill High School

Address: 341 West Main Street, Catskill

To get to the high school from the North, South, and West, take the Thruway to Exit 21 (Rte. 23). Take Route 23E to 9W South. Turn left at the first traffic light (under the train trestle) onto W. Main Street. Travel ¼-½ mile. The high school is on the right, just after the middle school.

Chatham Central High School

Address: 50 Woodbridge Ave., Chatham

To get to the high school from the North, take Route 90 to Rte. 9/Hudson Exit. Turn right onto Route 9 South Valatie. Bear left on Route 9 at fork (at Four Brothers Restaurant). Go approximately 1 mile, just past True Value store. Turn left onto Main Street. Take the first right onto 203 and travel to village of Chatham. Go left onto Woodbridge Ave. Go over railroad tracks and turn left to school. The high school is the second school.

Christian Brothers Academy

Address: 12 Airline Drive, Albany

Take I-87 to Exit 4. Follow this to the traffic light, where you’ll turn left onto Wolf Road. Take this to the first light, and turn left onto Route 155. As you approach the airport, stay on Route 155, and keep to the left side. At the “T,” turn left, staying on 155. Travel just past Heritage Park, and turn left on Airline Drive. Follow this to the main entrance of the school.

Cobleskill-Richmondville High School

Address: 1353 State Route 7, Richmondville

Follow Route 20 from Voorheesville to I-88 West. Take Exit 21 toward Route 7/Warnerville/Route 10/Cobleskill. Turn right on Hite Road. Turn Left onto NY-&/NY-10.

Cohoes High School

Address: 1 Tiger Circle, Cohoes

From the south, take I-87 North to the Cohoes exit, follow the exit ramp around and bear right at the light onto Route 9. Stay in the right lane and turn right at the light onto Route 9R. Travel past Latham Ford, and veer left at the fork by the Starlight Theatre. Travel to the second light and turn left onto Simmons Ave. Take a left onto Elm Street. Travel up the hill to the school.

Colonie Central High School (South Colonie)

Address: 1 Raider Blvd, Albany

To get to high school from the East or West, take the NYS Thruway to Exit 24 to I-87 North. Get off at Exit 2-E. Go right at the light, onto Central Ave. Take the first left onto Hackett Ave. The school is straight ahead.

Columbia High School

Address: 962 Luther Road, East Greenbush

To get to the high school from Albany, take I-90 to Exit 9. Go right onto Routes 4 and 40. Proceed to the first traffic light and turn left onto Luther Road. Approximately 1 mile ahead, go under I-90 overpass and turn left to the high school.

Corinth High School

Address: 105 Oak St., Corinth

To get to the high school from the south (Saratoga Springs), take Route 9N north to Corinth. Turn right onto Mechanic St. (at the R.V. Doctor). Go to a Stewart’s Store and turn right onto Main Street. Turn left onto Oak Street, and the school is up the road on the left. Try to use the far parking lot.

Coxsackie-Athens High School

Address: 24 Sunset Blvd., Coxsackie

Take the Thruway to Exit 21B. After the toll booths, go left onto 9W South. Turn left onto Route 385 South at the light. After traveling approximately 2 miles, go right to stay on Route 385. Travel ¼ mile. Turn right onto Sunset Blvd. The school is ¼ mile ahead, on the right.

Darrow School

Address: 110 Darrow Road, New Lebanon

To get to the school from the west, take Route 20 East from East Greenbush. Travel through New Lebanon. Travel on 20 out of town to the fork in the road. Take the right fork to stay on Route 20. Travel ¾ mile. Turn right at the Hess gas station, onto Darrow Road. The school is up ahead.

The Doane Stuart School

Address: 799 South Pearl St., Albany

To get to the high school from the Thruway, get off at Exit 23. Go right onto 9W. Immediately look for school sign on the left. Follow signs.

Duanesburg High School

Address: 133 School Drive, Delanson

From the Albany area, take I-88 West to the 2nd exit (Duanesburg). Yield right and go to Route 7. Go left onto 7 West. Travel to traffic light and go right on Route 20 West. Travel 2 ½ miles. Take left onto Route 395. Travel for 1 ½ miles. The school is on your right.

Emma Willard School

Address: 285 Pawling Ave., Troy

To get to the high school from the south (Albany), take I-787 North to the Route 7 East Exit. Follow Route 7 East to the 4th traffic light. Turn right onto 15th Street. Travel 1 mile to the “T” and turn left onto Routes 2 and 66. Travel to the top of the hill and follow the left fork onto Route 66. Just after the fourth traffic light, the school is on the left.

Fonda-Fultonville High School

Address: 112 Old Johnston Road, Fonda

To get to the high school from the Thruway, travel west to the Exit 28. After toll booths, turn left onto Riverside Drive. Turn right to go over the bridge. Go through Fonda and over the railroad bridge. Turn right at the “T”. Take the first left onto Cemetery Street. Travel to the top of the hill. The school is on the right.

Fort Ann Central School

Address: 1 Catherine St., Fort Ann

To get to the high school from the south, take Route 4 (out of Hudson Falls) into Fort Ann. Turn left onto Victoria Street. The school is up ahead.

Fort Edward High School

Address: 220 Broadway, Fort Edward

From the south, take Route 4 North through town. Travel to the top of the hill. The school is on your right.

Fort Plain Junior-Senior High School

Address: 1 West St., Fort Plain

To get to the high school from the east or west, take the Thruway to Exit 29 (Canajoharie). Go right onto Route 5S West. Travel 3 miles to Port Plain. Turn left at the first traffic light in town, onto Route80 9by Nice-n-Easy). Take the right fork onto Main St. Take the second right onto Wagner. Travel to the “T” and turn right onto Clyde St. to get to the high school.

Galway High School

Address:  5317 Route 147, Galway

From the south, take Route 147 North into Galway. Cross Route 45. Travel ¼ mile. The school is on the left.

Germantown High School

Address: 123 Main St., Germantown

From south of town, take Route 9G North into town. The school is on the right.

Glens Falls High School

Address: 10 Quade St., Glens Falls

To get to the high school from the south, take I-87 to Exit 18. Go right onto Main Street. Travel 1 mile. Turn left onto LaRose Street. Travel two-three blocks to the high school.

Gloversville High School

Address: 199 Lincoln St., Gloversville

To get to the high school from the south, take the Thruway to Exit 28 (Fonda). Take Route 30-A North to Gloversville. Turn left onto Route 29A (East Fulton St.). Travel past Main Street. Turn right onto Orchard St. Turn left onto Lincoln St. The high school is on the left.

Golding Middle School (Cobleskill-Richmondville)

Address: 193 Golding Drive

Follow Route 20 from Voorheesville to I-88 West. Take Exit 22 toward Rte 7/Cobleskill. Turn Right onto NY145, Turn left onto NY-7/NY145. Turn right onto N. Grand St. Turn Left onto Elm St. Turn Right on Golding Dr.

Granville Junior/Senior High School

Address: 58 Quaker St., Granville

From the south, take I-87 North. Take Route 149 East to Granville. Cross Route 22. Travel ¾ mile. The school is on the right.

Greenville High School

Address: Route 81, Box 129, Greenville

Take the Thruway to Exit 21B (Coxsackie). Go left onto Route 9W. Travel 2 miles to the light. Turn right onto Route 81. Follow Route 81 for 12 miles into Greenville. Cross Route 32. Travel ¼ mile to the high school.

Greenwich High School

Address: 10 Gray Ave., Greenwich

Take I-87 to Exit 14 into Saratoga Springs. Take Route 29 East. Cross the Hudson River and follow Route 29 into Greenwich. Turn left onto Church St. Turn left onto Gray Ave.. The school is straight ahead.

Guilderland High School

Address: P.O. Box 37, 8 School Road, Guilderland Center

To get to the high school from the east and Albany, take Route 20 West from I-87. Travel approximately 4 miles to a left on Route 146 South. Travel 2 miles to the light. Turn left onto School Road. Travel 3/10 mile. The school is on the left.

Hadley-Luzerne High School

Address: 273 Lake Ave., Lake Luzerne

Take I-87 North to Exit 21. Take Route 9N South to Lake Luzerne. Upon entering the village, the school is on the right.

Hartford High School

Address: 4704 State Route 149, Hartford

Take I-87 North. Take Route 40 North to Granville. The school is on your left at the Route 149 intersection.

Hawthorne Valley School

Address: 330 Route 21C, Ghent

Note: Athletic activities are held at the Saint Mary Academy Gym in Hudson, N.Y.

To get to the gym in Hudson from the north, take Route 9 South into Hudson. Turn right onto Green Street at the light. Follow this for ¼ mile. Turn left on Park Place. Turn right onto Warren Street. Travel to 3rd St. (approximately 5 blocks). Turn left and Saint Mary’s in on the left, on the corner of 3rd and Allen streets. (301 Allen St.)

Heatly/Green Island School

Address: 171 Hudson Ave., Green Island

From I-90, get off at I-787 North. Travel this until reaching the Green Island Exit. Turn right onto Tibbets Ave. Go 1 block. Turn right on Cohoes Ave., Go 2 blocks. Turn left onto Arch St. Travel ¼ mile to the school.

Hoosick Falls Central School

Address: River Road, Hoosick Falls

Take Route 7 East to Route 22 North. Follow Route 22 approximately 2 miles. The high school is on the left.

Hoosac School

Address: P.O. Box 9, Hoosick

Take Route 7 East to caution light at Route 22 intersection. Shortly past the light, turn left onto Lower Pine Valley Road. Sports facilities are in the third building on the left.

Hoosick Valley High School

Address: 1548 Route 67, Schaghticoke

Take I-87 to exit at Route 67 East. Follow 67 to Schaghticoke. Turn left on Routes 40 and 67. Follow this until they split. Turn right to follow 67. The school is one block ahead, on the right.

Hudson High School

Address: 215 Harry Howard Ave., Hudson

To get to the high school from the Thruway, get off at Exit 21 (Catskill). Take Route 23 East across the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Turn left on Route 23B North to Hudson, entering on 3rd St. Continue through town, cross Warren and Columbia streets. Turn right at State St. Travel State St. to 4th St. Bear left on 4th. Travel past the middle school to the high school.

Hudson Falls High School

Address: 80 E. La Barge St., Hudson Falls

Take I-87 North to Exit 17N. Travel north on Route 9 for ¾ mile. Turn right on Route 197 9by Café Morea). Four miles farther, turn left (north) onto Route 4 (by Stewart’s). Continue through Hudson Falls on Route 4. One mile north of the village, turn right onto E. La Barge St. Travel 1/8 mile to the school.

Ichabod Crane High School

Address: 2910 Route 9, Valatie

Take I-90 to Exit 12. Take Route 9 South approximately 4 miles. At the first light (at Four Brothers Restaurant), bear left onto Route 9 South. Pass the bank. The school is on the left.

Johnsburg Central School District

Address: 165 Main St., North Creek

Take Route 28 to North Creek. Bear right onto Main Street. Travel ½ mile. The school is on the left.

Johnstown High School

Address: 2 Wright Dr., Johnstown

Take the Thruway West to Exit 28. Turn left onto Riverside Drive. Take this to the bridge. Turn right. Travel over the bridge. Turn left at the light onto Main Street. Turn right onto Route 30A (by the Stewart’s). Follow this to Johnstown. Turn left at South Perry St. Turn left onto Main (by another Stewart’s). Travel through 4 traffic lights (the last light is Cayadutta St.). Take the next right, onto Wright Drive. Follow it to the high school.

Please note: Knox Field, where many athletic events are held, is located on South Perry St, one block from Route 30A, between S. Perry and Glebe streets.

Lake George Junior/Senior High School

Address: 381 Canada St., Lake George

Take I-87 to Exit 22. Turn right onto Route 9 South. Travel ¼ mile. School is on the right.

Lansingburgh High School

Address: 320 7th Ave., Troy

Take I-87 north to Exit 23, which leads directly onto 787 North. Proceed on 787 North into Cohoes. Take a right onto Ontario Street (Rt. 470). Continue over the 112th Street Bridge to 5th Avenue. Turn right onto 5th Avenue. Continue on to 107th Street. Take a left onto 107th Street. LHS is at the corner of 107th St. and 7th Avenue.

Lasalle Institute

Address: 174 Williams Road, Troy

Take I-787 North to the Troy/Menands Bridge Exit. Cross the bridge. Turn right at the traffic light onto Morrison Ave. Travel until reaching Route 4 and turn right onto Route 4. Travel to fourth light. Turn left on Williams Road. Travel approximately 200 yards. The school is on the left.

Latham Christian Academy

Address: 495 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham

Take I-87 to Exit 5. Turn left onto Route 155 East. Travel 1 mile. Cross the Route 9 intersection. Travel another ¾ mile. The school is on the left.

Maple Hill High School

Address: 1216 Maple Hill Road, Castleton

Take I-90 East from Albany to Exit 11E. Travel to second light. Bear right on 9 South. Travel approximately 1 ½ miles. Turn right onto Maple Hill Road. Travel approximately a mile. The school is on your left.

Mayfield High School

Address: 27 School St., Mayfield

Take the Thruway east to Exit 28. Follow signs for Route 30A North. Travel through Johnstown and Gloversville. Route 30A will turn into Route 30. At the Stewart’s Shop in Mayfield, turn right onto School St. Travel 1/8 mile past the blinking light. The school is on the left.

Mechanicville High School

Address: 25 Kniskern Ave., Mechanicville

Take I-87 to Exit 9 (Clifton Park/Mechanicville0. Bear right onto Route 146 East. Cross the Route 9 intersection. Follow Route 146 into Mechanicville. At the Country Pontiac/Toyota, turn left (still on 146). Take the second left on Pryn Hill Road. Travel 3-4 miles on this. The high school is on the left.

Middleburgh High School

Address: Route 145, Middleburgh

From I-88, get off at the Route 145 exit. Travel south on Route 145 to Middleburgh. Travel over the Schoharie Creek bridge on Route 145. The school is on the right after the bridge.

Mohonasen High School

Address: 2072 Curry Road, Schenectady

Take the Thruway West to Exit 25. After the toll booth, bear right onto the first exit (Curry Road). Take this to the third traffic light. Turn left to the schools. The high school is the second building on the left.

New Lebanon Junior/Senior High School

Address: 14665 Route 22, New Lebanon

Take I-90 East to Exit 11E. Take Route 20 East into New Lebanon. Proceed on Routes 20 and 22 through town. Go to the fork by the Hess gas station. Bear left on Route 22. Continue another ½ mile on Route 22. Just past Cemetery Road, the school is on the left.

New Life Academy

Address: 150 Corlaer Ave., Schenectady

Take I-87 to the Latham exit. Get on Route 7 West for approximately 6-7 miles. Turn left onto Balltown Road. Travel 1 mile. Turn right on Consaul Road. Take the fourth left onto Corlaer Ave. The school is just ahead on the left.

Niskayuna High School

Address: 1626 Balltown Road, Niskayuna

Take I-87 to the Clifton Park-Rexford Exit. Turn right on Route 146. Stay on this for approximately 6 miles. Travel over the Mohawk River on the Rexford Bridge. Travel another 2 miles. The high school is on the left.

OR

Take Rt. 85A to Rt. 155 north. Turn left onto Central Ave. Turn right onto Rt. 146/Balltown Road, about 3 miles. The high school is on the right.

North Warren Central School

Address: 6110 State Route 8, Chestertown

Take I-87 to Exit 25. Turn right on Route 8 West. Travel approximately 1 mile. Turn left at the caution light onto Route 8 South. Travel one mile. The high school is on the right.

Northville High School

Address: 131 S. 3rd St., Northville

Take Thruway to Exit 28. Follow signs for Route 30-A North. Follow Route 30-A North through Johnstown and Gloversville. Route 30-A North will turn into Route 30 North. Continue on 30 North along the Sacandaga Lake. When nearing Northville, turn right onto Bridge Street. Cross the bridge. The school is on the right.

Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons

Address: 2600 Albany St., Schenectady

Take I-87 to Exit 9. Turn right onto Route 146 West. Continue on Route 146 West across the Rexford Bridge. Route 146 becomes Balltown Road. Travel to Route 7. Turn right onto Route 7 West. At the second light, turn left onto Albany St. Follow Albany St. through one traffic light. The school is on the right. The driveway is before the school.

Queensbury High School

Address: 409 Aviation Road, Queensbury

Take I-87 to Exit 19. Turn left onto Aviation Road. The high school is the second building on the right.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School

Address: 2025 Route 9W, Ravena

Take the Thruway to Exit 23. Bear right on 9W South by Howard Johnson’s. Travel on 9W for approximately 10 miles. Pass the Blue Circle Cement Plant and the school complex is on the right.

Rensselaer

Address: 555 Broadway, Rensselaer

Take I-90 to Exit 9. Take Route 4. Turn left onto Washington Ave. Extension. Pass under I-90. Follow Washington Ave. Ext. until it becomes Washington Ave., then becomes Broadway. Travel apporximately 1 mile along the river. The school is at the bottom of the railroad bridge, on the right.

St. Johnsville

Address: 44 Center St., St. Johnsville

Take the Thruway West to the Canajoharie exit. Turn right on Route 5 S. Travel to the first light. Turn right onto Church St. Cross over the Mohawk River. Turn left onto Route 5 West. Travel 10 miles to St. Johnsville. Take the third right onto Center St. Take the second right. Travel to the top of the hill. The high school is straight ahead.

Salem

Address: East Broadway, Salem

Take Route 22 North from Cambridge. Travel 10 miles to Salem. Turn right at East Broadway (Route 153). Travel ¼ mile. The school is on the left.

Saratoga Central Catholic

Address: 247 South Broadway, Saratoga Springs

Take I-87 North to Exit 13N. Take Route 9 North into Saratoga Springs. Route 9 becomes South Broadway and then North Broadway. Look for the Holdiay Inn on your right. The school is almost directly across from it, next to the church.

Please note: Please call ahead for alternate sports sites. The softball, baseball and soccer fields are at various locations 2-3 blocks from the high school.

Saratoga Springs High School

Address: 238 West Circular St., Saratoga Springs

Take I-87 North to Exit 13N. Take Route 9 North. Travel a few miles, and the Museum of Dance is on the left. After this, turn left onto West Fenlon St.. Go past the traffic light. Turn right onto West Ave. Travel a few hundred yards. The school is on the right.

Schalmont High School

Address: 1 Sabre Drive, Schalmont

From the Thruway, travel west to the I-88 (Binghamton) exit. Travel on I-88 for a few hundred yards. Get off the Rotterdam exit. Turn left at the first stop sign. Turn left again
at the traffic light onto Route 7 East. Travel ¼ mile to the next light. The high school is on the left. The middle school is on the right.

Schenectady

Address: 1401 The Plaza, Schenectady

Take the Thruway to Exit 25. Take I-890 to Exit 6. Turn right onto Michigan Ave. Travel 5-6 lights to the “T”. Turn left. Then, turn right onto Phoenix. The school is straight ahead.

Schenectady Christian

Address: 36-38 Sacandaga Road, Scotia

From the Thruway, take Exit 25 to I-890. Get off I-890 at Exit 4C (Washington Ave.) At the light by Schenectady Community College, turn left onto Route 5. Cross over the bridge into Scotia. At the fourth traffic light (by the post office), turn right onto Route 147 (Sacandaga Road). The school is 3 blocks up on the right.

Schoharie Junior/Senior High School

Address: 136 academy Dr., Schoharie

Take I-88 to Exit 23 (Schoharie). Travel on Routes 30 and 30A South for 3 miles. Travel past the school (on the left). Turn left onto Prospect St. One block up, turn left, just past the bus garage, and onto school grounds.

Schuylerville Junior/Senior High School

Address: 14 Spring St., Schuylerville

Take Route 4 north to Schuylerville. Bear right on Spring Street.

Scotia-Glenville High School

Address: 1 Tartan Way, Scotia

From Voorheesville Avenue: Bear left at State Farm Road. Continue on Karner Road. Continue on New Karner Road. Turn left at Central Avenue. Continue on State Street. Bear right at Mohawk Avenue. Bear right at Sacandaga Road. Turn left at 81st Street/Tartan Way.

Shaker High School (North Colonie)

Address: 445 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham

Take I-87 to Exit 5. Turn left on Route 155 East. Travel approximately 2 miles. Cross Route 9. The school is on the left.

Sharon Springs High School

Address: Route 20, Sharon Springs

From the east, come in on Route 20 West. Go 2 blocks part a Stewart’s. The school is on the left.

Shenendehowa High School

Address: 970 Route 146, Clifton Park

Take I-87 North to Exit 9. Bear left onto Route 146 West. Travel past the mall and a McDonald’s. Turn left at traffic light onto Moe Road. Then turn right onto school grounds. The high school is the first building on your left.

South Glens Falls High School

Address: 42 Merritt Road, South Glens Falls

Take I-87 to Exit 17N. Head north on Route 9. Take the first left AFTER the second traffic light onto Merritt Road. Travel ¼ mile. The school is straight ahead as the road bears right. Parking is in the rear of the school.

Stillwater High School

Address: Route 4, Stillwater

Take Route 4 North out of Mechanicville. Travel through Stillwater. Travel past the Route 76 interchange. Travel approximately ½ mile north of town. The school is on the right.

Taconic Hills K-12 School

Address: State Route 11a, Craryville

Take State Route 9 North to Route 9H. Take Route 9H North to State Route 23.  Turn right and head east on Route 23 for approximately nine miles to County Route 11a (Beauty Award Highway). Turn right on Route 11a; the school campus will be 1000 feet in on the left.

Tamarac Secondary School

Address: Route 2, Brunswick

Take I-787 North to Exit 7. Take Route 7 East over the Hoosick St. Bridge and through Troy. Travel approximately 6 miles. Turn right onto Route 278. Travel ¾ mile. Turn left on Route 2 (by a Stewart’s). Travel ¼ mile to the school on the left.

Troy High School

Address: 1950 Burdett Ave., Troy

Take I-787 North to the Route 7/Collar City Bridge Exit. Travel over the bridge. Travel approximately 6 traffic lights to Burdett Ave. Turn right onto Burdett Ave. Pass 2 traffic lights. The school is on the left. The middle school (W.K. Doyle) is next door.

Warrensburg Junior Senior High School

Address: 103 Schroon River Road, Warrensburg

Take I-87 North to Exit 23. Turn left. Travel to the light and yield to the right. Travel one mile to the light. Turn right on Horicon Ave. Travel 1 mile. The school is on your left.

Waterford High School

Address: 125 Middletown Road, Waterford

Take I-87 to Exit 8A. take Grooms Road East, toward Halfmoon. Cross Route 9 to travel on Guideboard Road straight to the Waterford town line. The road is now Middletown Road. Travel straight 1.5 miles. The school is on the left.

Watervliet Junior/Senior High School

Address: 1245 Hillside Drive, Watervliet

Take I-787 to the second Watervliet Exit (23rd St. Exit). Turn left at the light. Travel to the “Do Not Enter” sign. Facing a one-way street, turn left. Travel to the stop sign. Turn right onto 19th Street. Travel over the railroad tracks. Turn left at the next light onto 12th Avenue. Turn right into the school parking lot.

Watervliet Elementary School

Address:  2557 10th Avenue, Watervliet

I-87 to Exit 6 (Rte. 2). Take right on Rt. 2 toward Latham Circle. Go straight around circle (stay on 2). Follow into Watervliet (down the hill after Pizza Hut on right). At bottom of hill, turn left at light (12th Ave.). Drive three blocks and softball field is on the right.

Whitehall Junior/Senior High School

Address: 87 Buckley Road, Whitehall

Take Route 4 North to Whitehall. Follow Route 4 as it turns right at the light. Travel one mile. Bear left at the fork onto Buckley Road. Travel 1/8 mile. The school is on the left.
