Welcome to the 2009-2010 School Year!

The Voorheesville PTA welcomes you! We have lots of exciting events and programs this year, and that means lots of opportunities to become involved. Join us!

Our annual membership campaign begins in September; we encourage parentsboth men and womento become members of the PTA. We hope to see you at PTA meetings during the year as well. If your schedule does not allow you to attend all the meetings, keep informed with what's going on by signing up to receive our meeting minutes and updates (If you're a member, you should already receive minutes).

Volunteers are always needed for many jobsboth big and small. If you are interested in helping, please fill out one of our "PTA I'm available" forms. Then we'll e-mail you with updates on our volunteer needs and if you are available to help, you can let us know. » LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PTA

School Banking has begun!

School banking accounts offer the learning experience and benefit of saving money along with a competitive interest rate. Elementary school students can make deposits to their accounts on most Tuesdays during the school year (the $$ sign on the elementary cafeteria menu indicates school banking days). Middle and high school students can make deposits to their school banking accounts at any First Niagara branch. If you have questions about or are interested in enrolling in the school banking program, please contact our coordinator, Shelly Connolly, at hconnoll@nycap.rr.com or 439-3385.

PTA year end review of accomplishments

Thank you for your support

Once again, the Voorheesville PTA had a very active year. We could not have done it without the help of our volunteers and officers, who helped out in both big and small ways—making decisions, organizing, coordinating and facilitating events, brainstorming ideas and so much more! Thanks again for your involvement and support. Learn more about the PTA's accomplishments during the 2008-09 school year.

Results of parent-teacher survey
to help guide PTA’s decisions

During the 2008-09 school year, the PTA received more than 100 completed surveys identifying the programs and services community members important for investment by the PTA. The results will help guide the PTAs decisions in the year to come. Thank you to everyone who provided their feedback and submitted new ideas for consideration. Review the survey results.
