MS and HS "A" Day

Lunch:  Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza, Green Beans, Fresh Fruit, Milk

Soup of the Day:  Manhattan Clam Chowder

Sophomore leaders are encouraged to submit applications to be our school's HOBY representative. Application essays are due to Mr. Kelley in the Guidance Office by 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

Attention Middle School Students: Next Tuesday is Pajama Day. Students will be allowed to dress in pajamas for the day. Please dress appropriately.

Students attending the Yale Model UN conference need to sign up for country assignments in Mr. Lawrence's room.

Did you know that there is a scarf tree in our school's Library? For only ONE dollar, you may select a scarf and donate it to Parson's Child and Family Center. Please stop by the Library and check out a book and the Builders Club Scarf Tree.

There will be a Natural Helpers meeting today at 2:30 in Room 124. All members please attend.

Attention Seniors: Do you want a say in YOUR graduation? Come to the Commencement meeting today during 7th period lunch in Room 125.

The high school Drama Club will be selling tickets today to raffle off two tickets to any Capital Rep. show or two tickets to a select Proctor's show, or two tickets to the Drama Club's production of Bye Bye Birdie. Tickets are $1.00 each and will be sold during 7th period lunch on Thursdays and after school from the Drama Room.

Writers Club will meet in the computer room today after school.

There will be a MasterMinds practice session after school today in Room 109. See Ms. Stoyle for details.

There will be a meeting after school today in Room 159 for all students interested in participating in Art Club. If you are interested but cannot attend, please see Miss Upson.

"New Moon" in the afternoon…the "Twilight" series continues in the Library after school today. Join the fun…music, food, trivia and "Midnight Sun."

Bye Bye Birdie is coming! Auditions will be in December. Are you interested in auditioning? There will be a Bye Bye Birdie audition workshop today from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. All high school students interested in auditioning for the show are encouraged to attend.

The Music Department is sponsoring Voorheesville High School Open Mic Night on Wednesday, November 18 at 7 p.m. at Emack & Bolio's in Guilderland. See Mr. Kaplan or Mr. Young to sign up.

Student Government will meet on Wednesday at 2:35 in Mr. Gladd's room. All members must attend.

Want to see live theater, but don't want to spend a lot of money? Take a chance on the high school Drama Club raffle! Please consider donating a NEW winter hat, scarf or mittens to benefit the families of the Parson's Child and Family Center. The Builders Club will be collecting them through the month of November. Collection boxes are located in the middle and high school Foyers.
