Resource Room

Students in the Resource Room Program are classified by the Special Education Committee (CSE) as learning disabled. Remediation in the area of reading, writing, spelling, and math is provided by special education staff who assist the classroom teacher and provide support in the English, Social Studies, Math and Science classes. Students are also taught organizational skills and study skills. As much as possible, remediation is done through academic course work rather than in isolation.
