What is student government?
The High School Student Council serves as the student government
for Clayton A. Bouton High School. In this role, members of Student
Council act as liaisons between the school administration and
faculty and the wider student body, helping to facilitate
communication and giving the students a voice in various issues and
initiative of the school.
Student Council representatives are chosen
yearly through Social Studies classes at all grade levels in the
high school, and is lead by an executive committee that is chosen in
annual elections held each spring.
Student Council is a service
oriented activity at Clayton A. Bouton High School; as such, each
member is expected to complete five hours of community service over the
course of the school year.
