2007-08 season recap
The
2007-08 ski season started strong with a well attended trip to Stratton
in December, followed by a trip to Okemo in January. In February, a
small group traveled to Catamount for night skiing where we enjoyed
great conditions under the stars. The last three scheduled trips were
cancelled due to insufficient sign-ups.
Snow was in short supply as the winter progressed,
and much of what would have been snow came down as rain, drowning the
thoughts that many club members had of enjoying sunny days on the snow
covered slopes.
As always, the season concluded with our annual
outing to Six Flags New England where everyone enjoyed a warm summer day
on the rides and in the water park. As the days get colder, our thoughts
and hopes return to some significant snowfall for the winter months so
that our club can get back in force on the mountains! |
